Current Polk CDC Board President, Amy Houghtaling, is the former four-term Mayor of Falls City and currently serves as council president on the Falls City Council. She also a founder and the Program Director for FACES Afterschool Program in Falls City. She has been serving youth and families in Falls City for 16 + years. She joined the Board in 2015 and was elected President in 2018.
Current Polk CDC Board Vice President, Lane Shetterly, is a public and private sector attorney based in Dallas. He is also a former State Representative for Oregon’s 23rd Legislative District and a former Director of the Oregon Department of Conservation and Development. Mr. Shetterly was a founding Polk CDC Board Member in 1989, served as elected Board President from 2008 – 2018, and is currently serving as Vice President.
Current Polk CDC Board Treasurer, Linda Jennings, is retired as the former Executive Director of West Valley Housing Authority with 40 years housing experience working for four different housing authorities in California and Oregon. She is a life-time member of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials. Ms. Jennings joined the Board in 2015.
Current Polk CDC Board Secretary, Stephanie Torres, works as a Military and Family Readiness Specialist for the Oregon National Guard. She is State President for Gold Star Wives. She has founded a group that teaches money saving and volunteers to conduct related workshops and help communities in need. Ms. Torres joined the Board in 2016.
Current Polk CDC Board Member, Zellee Allen, is the Executive Director of Partnerships in Community Living, Inc. (PCL), a Monmouth based non-profit dedicated to expanding the horizons and enhancing the quality of life for those they support. He has been a Polk CDC Board Member since 2008.
Current Polk CDC Board Member, Kate Cooper Richardson, Kate is the Division Administrator of the Division of Child Support and the director of the Oregon Child Support Program. Prior to joining the Oregon DOJ in 2010, Kate's public service career included work in all three branches of state government, including the legislature, the Oregon Court of Appeals, eight years as Chief of Staff to a former Oregon State Treasurer, and a year with a former Governor. Kate holds a B.A. from the University of Oregon and a J.D. cum Laude from the Willamette University School of Law. Kate has been a Polk CDC Board Member since 2008.
Current Polk CDC, Jeremy Gordon, was appointed to the Board of Commissioners in August 2021 and elected to a four-year term in May of 2022. Jeremy previously served as Mayor of Falls City from 2017 - 2021 and helped lead many successful projects and community initiatives. He has worked in fields of high education administration where he helped launch a competency-based degree program for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, finance and music performance. Jeremy graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities with a degree in philosophy. Some other services he provides are Community Grants Evaluator, OR. Community Foundation, Board Director, Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency, Chair, Mid-Willamette Valley Homeless Alliance and he is part of the Community Advisory Group with Fair Housing Co. Jeremy joined the Polk CDC Board in 2017.
Current Polk CDC Board Member, Ms. Alea Littleton, is currently a School-Based Mental Health Therapist with Polk County Family and Community Outreach. Alea is also serving the Falls City School District and has been for the past 5 years, Alea attended the university of Oregon and Oregon State University where she obtained her family and human services major and master's in counseling. She served two terms of AmeriCorps and has spent the majority of her career in various non-profit organizations while serving at-risk/homeless youth. Alea joined the Polk CDC Board in 2021.
Current Polk CDC Board Member, Mrs. Pangburn, and currently works as a case manager for Polk County Behavioral Health's Aid & Assist Team as well as the Enhanced Needs Care Coordinator (ENCC) for Complex Care. Previously, Jenn worked as a Peer Support Specialist for PCBH's Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team from 2015 - 2021. Jenn joined with Polk CDC Board in 2022.
Current Polk CDC Board Member, Mr. Cast, is currently a business owner of J's Mechanic Shop in Dallas, where he has been a mechanic for over 15+ years. He brings a strong bi-lingual background in Spanish and English speaking. Javier joined the Polk CDC Board in 2023.
